All high performing teams are built within an culture that promotes feedback and growth. A culture where people are comfortable asking for and receiving feedback from their peers and leaders, and it can dramatically change how a workplace performs and thrives. Receiving feedback can be uncomfortable for some, but it’s also necessary if you want to create motivated and high performing teams. We owe it to each other to make the effort to deliver and receive feedback in the most healthy and valuable way.
Dr. Christian Conte explains; Feedback about your performance is NOT the same thing as feedback about who you are as a person. The more you learn the difference, the less you will take things personally, and ultimately, the more successful you will be.
